    Join us as we celebrate Holy Confirmation on April 24 at 7 PM. Pray for our students as they take this important step in their faith journey.

    We are filled with joy as we prepare for one of the most meaningful moments in our faith journey—Holy Confirmation. Please join us in lifting up our students in prayer as they take this sacred step.

    The Confirmation Mass will be held on Thursday, April 24th, at 7:00 p.m. at Most Holy Rosary Church, located at 111 Roberts Avenue.

    This beautiful sacrament marks the deepening of baptismal grace and the strengthening of each student by the Holy Spirit. It is a time of spiritual growth, commitment, and a true celebration of faith.

    We are proud of our Confirmandi and all the preparation they have done through prayer, service, and learning. May this moment be a reminder of the love and guidance of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

    All are welcome to attend and support our students as they receive this sacrament and continue growing in their relationship with Christ.

    Let us keep them in our hearts and prayers during this special time!

    Join Most Holy Rosary families for a magical week at Pyramid Lake, July 6–11, filled with nature, fun, and fellowship. Registration is now open!

    Each summer, Most Holy Rosary families pack up their hiking boots, swimsuits, and sense of adventure and head to the Adirondacks for a week of rest, reflection, and community at Pyramid Lake Life Center. We’re thrilled to announce that Pyramid Lake 2025 will take place Sunday, July 6th through Friday, July 11th—and we’d love for your family to join us!

    Nestled in Paradox, NY, just outside Ticonderoga and about 3 hours northeast of Syracuse, Pyramid Lake Life Center (PLC) is a peaceful, rustic retreat owned by the Albany Diocese. With a history stretching back to the late 1800s, PLC offers a unique opportunity to unplug from the fast pace of daily life and reconnect with nature, with family, and with faith.

    Ask any MHR family who’s attended and they’ll tell you: Pyramid Lake is magical. From the stillness of early morning paddles to the laughter shared around evening campfires, this is a place where kids explore freely, parents unwind completely, and memories are made that last a lifetime.

    Spring is in the air, and that means it’s time for a well-deserved break! Most Holy Rosary Elementary School will be closed for Spring Break from Monday, April 14th through Monday, April 21st. Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 22nd.

    This is a wonderful opportunity for students, families, and staff to recharge, spend time with loved ones, and enjoy the fresh start that spring brings. Whether you’re traveling, relaxing at home, or exploring the beauty of Central New York, we hope your break is filled with joy, rest, and plenty of sunshine.

    As we head into the final stretch of the school year, this pause allows everyone to return refreshed and ready to finish strong!

    Prepare for ELA State Testing on May 9th-10th with tips on sleep, breakfast, hydration, and staying positive. Success starts with a healthy mindset!

    As we approach the upcoming ELA State Testing, we want to ensure that our students are prepared and confident for the big day! The state testing will take place on April 9th-10th, and it’s important to remember that preparation isn’t just about studying—it’s also about taking care of yourself.

    Here are a few helpful tips to help students do their best:

    • Get a Good Night’s Sleep: The night before the test, make sure to get plenty of rest! A full night of sleep helps improve concentration and memory, ensuring students are alert and ready to tackle the test.
    • Eat a Healthy Breakfast: Starting the day with a balanced breakfast can make all the difference. Foods like oatmeal, eggs, or a smoothie provide the energy needed to stay focused throughout the test. Avoid sugary cereals or snacks that may cause energy crashes later on.     • Stay Hydrated: Don’t forget to drink water throughout the day! Staying hydrated helps keep energy levels up and the brain functioning at its best.
    • Stay Positive and Relax: Test anxiety is normal, but students should remember that they’ve prepared for this moment. Take a deep breath, stay positive, and do your best. It’s not about perfection; it’s about putting forth effort.
    • Bring Your Best Effort: Come prepared with everything you need—pencils, erasers, and any other materials specified by your teacher. A positive mindset and focus will help you succeed.

    Most Holy Rosary Elementary School hosts its annual Mother-Son bowling event on April 27th from 4-6 PM at the Flamingo Bowling Alley.

    We’re excited to invite all mothers and special guests to join us for a fun-filled afternoon of bowling with the Most Holy Rosary Elementary School community!     Most Holy Rosary Elementary School will be closed on Monday, March 31st in observance of Eid-al-Fitr, a significant celebration marking the end of Ramadan. Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 1st.

    Eid-al-Fitr, also known as the “Festival of Breaking the Fast,” is a joyous occasion observed by the Muslim religion around the world with prayers, gatherings, and acts of charity. We extend warm wishes to all those celebrating this special day!

    Enjoy the long weekend, and we look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday, April 1st.
