At Most Holy Rosary Elementary School, we are dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive. As part of the Diocese of Syracuse’s Safe Environment Program, we uphold the highest standards of protection, ensuring that all staff, volunteers, and clergy complete required training and background checks.
Most Holy Rosary is hosting two Safe Environment Training sessions at school this fall. The Recertification class will be held on Tuesday, November 19th at 5:30 PM and the Initial training class will take place on Monday, December 1st at 5:30 PM. Both sessions are essential for anyone volunteering or working with children in our school community. Please click here to register for the Recertification Class, and click here for the Initial training class. We ask that all participants attend a session to stay current with requirements and continue supporting our school community safely.
For those completing the initial training, in-person sessions are available. Please click here to view the upcoming training schedule. For individuals needing re-certification, the schedule for re-certification sessions can be found by clicking here. We ask that all participants attend a session to stay current with requirements and continue supporting our school community safely.
Anyone working with children in any capacity must complete the Safe Environment training, undergo a background check, and follow the Diocese’s policies on child protection. The program provides education on recognizing and preventing abuse while reinforcing our shared responsibility to maintain a secure school environment.
We also encourage parents and guardians to partner with us in promoting safety and trust. To learn more about Safe Environment policies and training opportunities, please visit the Diocese of Syracuse Safe Environment webpage. Together, we can ensure that Most Holy Rosary Elementary School remains a place of faith, learning, and protection for every child.
