Get ready for a magical evening filled with music, laughter, and unforgettable memories! Most Holy Rosary Elementary School is excited to host the 29th Annual Father/Someone Special Daughter Dance on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM in the school gymnasium.

This cherished tradition is a wonderful opportunity for fathers, grandfathers, uncles, or other special guests to share a memorable night with their daughters. The event will feature:
- DJ
- Delicious Refreshments
- Raffles with Exciting Prizes
- Twin magicians to add a touch of magic
- Balloon decorations
- A professional portrait opportunity to capture the special night
How to Attend

To participate, families must complete the registration form and submit payment. Please click here to complete the registration form. The cost is $30 per couple, with an extra $5 per additional daughter (family cap of $45). Forms and payments can be returned to:

No School February 17th – 21st! Enjoy Your February Break

At Most Holy Rosary Elementary School, we know how hard our students, teachers, and families work throughout the school year, and we hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved February Break! From Monday, February 17th through Friday, February 21st, school will be closed as we take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with loved ones. Classes will resume on Monday, February 24th.

Whether you’re planning a winter getaway, spending time with family, or simply relaxing at home, we encourage everyone to take this opportunity to refresh both mind and spirit. February Break is a great time to catch up on reading, get outside for some winter fun, or engage in creative activities that inspire learning beyond the classroom.

We look forward to welcoming our students back on Monday, February 24th, ready to finish the school year strong! Wishing all of our MHR families a safe, restful, and joyful break.
Be the Change for Hope: Most Holy Rosary Joins the Griffin’s Guardians Challenge

This February, Most Holy Rosary Elementary School is proud to participate in the Change for Hope Challenge, a fundraiser benefiting Griffin’s Guardians, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families of children battling pediatric cancer.

This initiative is especially meaningful to our school community, as Griffin’s Guardians has directly helped families in our area. Now, it’s our turn to give back!

How Can Students Get Involved?

For the entire month, students are encouraged to bring in spare change and drop it in the Griffin’s Guardians Bucket in the office. Every penny, nickel, dime, and quarter adds up to make a difference for children and families facing unimaginable challenges.

Why It Matters

In 2024, 28 schools joined the campaign, raising over $28,000 in just one month. Since its inception, schools have contributed over $91,000, helping families across 17 counties in New York whose children are receiving care at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital.

This is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a chance for our students to show compassion, generosity, and the power of community.

Let’s come together and be the change for hope!
No School on January 29th in Observance of Lunar New Year

Looking for an easy way to give back? The upcoming Bottle and Can Drive is a simple and impactful way to support our school while helping the environment. On Sunday, February 2nd, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, bring your empty bottles and cans to the back parking lot. Our volunteers will handle the rest!

- Every donation adds up. The funds raised go directly to supporting important school programs and initiatives.

Spread Warmth This Winter: Donate to the Clothing Drive

With winter in full swing, there’s a growing need for warm clothing in our community. The Winter Clothing Drive is an opportunity to make a difference by donating gently used items that help keep children and families warm during the colder months.

We are looking for the following items:
- Coat
- Snowpants
- Insulated Gloves
- Boots
Donations can be dropped off anytime during school hours, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, now through Friday, February 7th. Please ensure all items are clean and free of holes or stains.

Every contribution, no matter the size, has a significant impact. Your kindness helps ensure that everyone has the gear they need to stay warm, safe, and active this season—whether it’s for recess, outdoor play, or simply braving the chilly weather.
