At Most Holy Rosary Elementary School, we proudly offer free breakfast and lunch to all students through the Syracuse City School District’s meal program. Designed with health, safety, and inclusivity in mind, our food services support every child’s growth and success.
- Nut-Free Environment: To ensure student safety, we strive to maintain a nut-free school. Please avoid sending snacks or lunches containing nut products.
- Daily Variety: In addition to the daily menu, students can choose from Sun Butter & Jelly sandwiches, fresh fruit, veggie boats, and a selection of milk options.
- Respect for Dietary Needs: We are committed to accommodating student allergies. Please inform your classroom teacher of any allergies so appropriate measures can be taken, including alerting faculty and parents for lunches, snacks, and parties. A physician’s statement may be required.
- Guidelines for Home-Packed Lunches: Students bringing lunch from home are encouraged to pack nutritious meals. Soda is not permitted as a drink during lunch.
Our meal program creates a positive environment where students can enjoy nutritious meals and develop healthy eating habits. Click here to view this month’s breakfast and lunch menus.
Healthy Snacks and Hydration
Students are encouraged to bring healthy snacks from home to support their well-being and enhance focus throughout the day. Snacks should align with our nut-free policy to ensure safety for all students. We also encourage students to bring a reusable water bottle, promoting hydration and sustainability. This initiative supports our commitment to fostering healthy habits and a safe, nurturing environment for every child.
